"I held a birthday party here for 40 people and it was great! Great selection of beer and drinks. Plus, Stephen and the team set the room up really nicely and the bar staff were fantastic all night. Quick service, really friendly and they were really attentive cleaning the glasses throughout the night. Would highly recommend as a venue, also helps that it’s so central as you can head out after."

"Visited for a suprise party. This pub has great charm. It's by no means big inside, but it makes up for it in character. Great selection of drinks , the guys behind the bar are really welcoming and the locals were all really friendly.
On the occasion we were there a traditional folkish band were playing and it made the atmosphere lots of fun."

"Really great place with good beer on draft and bottled, serve some Belgian beer which is definitely a big plus. A little bit pricey and can sometimes be hit and miss with the atmosphere here. However when its a hit its definitely a great place for a drink with friends. Staff are always good here and definitely make the effort. Also has outside seating that is also covered. Dance floor downstairs for hire."
